Ms Avanthi Mandaleson is an Orthopaedic Surgeon and member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, with a focus on trauma, hand and upper limb surgery. Avanthi is interested in all aspects of hand, wrist and elbow traumatic, sports, arthritic and degenerative conditions. She manages all aspects of paediatric and adult upper limb fractures.
Avanthi was born and educated in the UK prior to migrating to Australia in 2002. She has completed degrees in medical science and medicine from the University of Nottingham in the UK and Monash University. After completing her Orthopaedic training in Australia through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Australian Orthopaedic Association, she undertook further subspecialty training in trauma and hand surgery in leading centres in Australia, Wrightington hospital, a leading orthopaedic upper limb centre in the UK and Ganga hospital in India, an international leader in microsurgical reconstruction.
